Voice to Text Everywhere is a Chrome extension that converts spoken words into text directly on web pages.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, or share any personal data. All voice input is processed locally in the browser using built-in speech recognition APIs.

No audio recordings, transcripts, or browsing data are sent to external servers or third parties.

Permissions

• Microphone: To capture voice input only when the user activates speech recognition.
• activeTab & host permissions: To insert the transcribed text into the currently active page’s text fields. No other data is accessed.

Data Security

All processing occurs locally, so your data remains private and secure at all times.

Changes to This Policy

If future updates introduce online processing or storage, users will be clearly notified and must give consent before any data is collected.
